Is it time to quit your job?
3 questions to consider:
90% of the time, if you want to quit it’s because you’re not all in. Have you “burned the ships” and committed 100% to your job? Then you will be looking for reasons to quit.
Question #1…are you committed?
Secondly, are other people around you doing better than you? If people in your department are making more than you, then you need to look at how you can be better where you’re at. If you’re being outperformed, it’s time to up your game and become the top producer before you ever consider leaving.
Question #2…are others performing better than you?
Third, honestly assess if there is more you can learn in your role. Too many people quit when they haven’t even mastered what they’re doing.
Look at your future, you need to earn more or learn more. If your job gives you opportunity to earn more or learn more, you should consider staying until you can max out your earning potential or learning potential.
Question #3…is there more to earn or learn?
